Inspired by the teachings & values of RSS, some teachers came together in 1981 to establish an educational institution in the name of Andhra Kesari Vidya Kendram (“AKVK”) with the guidance of some (eminent people / of the local elders) (of Ongole), who all together identified the need for a making quality education affordable & available, locally.
With the objective of providing excellent, knowledgeable and value-based education coupled with patriotism, personality development, discipline and such other similar traits that are required for shaping of a complete personality of the students, the AKVK Junior College has been established. (Since beginning, this college accommodates both boys and girls from all the sections of the society and has both English and Telugu as medium of instruction). Having completed 42 successful years and entered into it’s 43rd year in 2023, it has shaped the lives of thousands of youngsters with lasting impressions who went on to earn various degrees with the value education of AKVK and became role models & inspiration for the next generations.
With an aim of further improving the offering of AKVK, a committee has been formed with people of standing in the society with values, dedication and determination. This committee has contributed immensely for it’s growth and fulfilling the dreams of the founders. In furtherance of these objectives, the committee has established AKVK Degree & PG College and Indira Priyadarsini Law College to offer deserving students with the choicest quality education along with high standards that are at par with many established colleges in the region, in a very short time.

Today, the following Governing Committee members are working with the academic and non-academic (staff / teams) of these AKVK colleges, to make these institutions as the ideal and most sought-after destination for quality education in the Ongole District, in their respective areas:
